Mountain Men (Oculus Go)

What: A Casual ride up a mountain with all the normal road trip hazards falling in your way… like Anvils!?!?! You are loaded into the game game and instructed on what to do next via your vehicles windshield.

How: My teammate and close friend Mike Morrone and I were lucky enough to get an Oculus Go thanks to Oculus, one of the sponsors of the event. We then spent the next 4 days on a train with none to low internet signal to produce a VR game we have never attempted before.

My Role: I was mainly in charge of Level Design, UI, and ,Tech Troubleshooting. Although the Oculus Developers on the train were super helpful.

Rewards: This was not the first time I have done VR, but it was the first time I have done a Mobile Game as well as VR without Internet and on a moving object. In this case it was a train. This was a once in a life time experience and I gained so much knowledge from doing Mobile VR on Train Jam 2019
